About
Hi, I’m Hunter
I’m a photographer in Bluffton, South Carolina, and I believe the best photo of your family is the one nobody posed for.
WHY I DO THIS
I started because I know how fast it goes
[PLACEHOLDER — replace with Hunter’s actual origin story.] I picked up a camera [X years ago], and what began as a way to hold onto my own family’s ordinary days turned into the work I do now. Somewhere between the first roll of film and the hundredth family on the sand, I realized the photos people cherish most are almost never the ones they planned.
Nobody frames the portrait where everyone’s sitting still. They frame the one where someone’s laughing too hard to look at the camera.
[PLACEHOLDER — Lowcountry connection.] I’ve been in the Lowcountry [X years / all my life], and it’s the reason my work looks the way it does. Low golden light, salt air, marsh grass bending in the wind — this place gives you something you can’t manufacture in a studio.

HOW I WORK
The Way I Photograph
I don’t hand out poses. I don’t count to three. What I do is give you something to do — walk, chase, whisper something to each other — and then get out of the way and photograph what actually happens.
It means sessions run a little longer and feel a lot less like work. It also means the photos look like the people in them.
01
Unposed, not unplanned
We’ll plan the light, the location, and the timing carefully — so that once we start, nothing has to be forced.
02
One photographer, start to finish
You get me from your first email to your final gallery. No rotating staff, no handoffs, no wondering who’s showing up.
03
The in-between moments
The glance before the smile, the hand reaching out of frame. Those are the ones you’ll come back to in ten years.
Off the clock
When the Camera’s Down
[PLACEHOLDER — real personal details.] When I’m not shooting, you’ll usually find me [walking the beach at low tide / with my family / at a favorite spot in Old Town]. I’m a [coffee order], a [something small and human], and someone who still gets up early for a good sunrise even when nobody’s paying me to.
If we work together, you’ll get to know me a bit — that’s sort of the point.

Let’s Tell Your Story
The best way to know if we’re a fit is to say hello. Tell me about your family, your wedding, your season of life — I’d love to hear it.
