WHY I DO THIS

I started because I know how fast it goes.

Nobody frames the portrait where everyone’s sitting still. They frame the one where someone’s laughing too hard to look at the camera.

I’ve always been drawn to the moments that feel real—the belly laughs, windblown hair, sandy toes, happy tears, and all the little in-between moments you wish you could hold onto forever. That’s what I love most about photography. For me, it’s about so much more than taking a beautiful picture; it’s about capturing the people, places, and moments that tell a story.

Whether I’m photographing a family on the beach, a couple saying “I do,” an event filled with moments worth remembering, a milestone worth celebrating, or a beautiful home ready for its next chapter, my goal is always the same: to create images that feel natural, intentional, and completely you. From once-in-a-lifetime celebrations to the everyday moments and spaces that matter, I want my photographs to capture more than how something looked—I want them to bring you right back to how it felt.

HOW I WORK

The Way I Photograph

I don’t hand out poses. I don’t count to three. What I do is give you something to do — walk, chase, whisper something to each other — and then get out of the way and photograph what actually happens.


It means sessions run a little longer and feel a lot less like work. It also means the photos look like the people in them.

Unposed, not unplanned

We’ll plan the light, the location, and the timing carefully — so that once we start, nothing has to be forced.

One photographer, start to finish

You get me from your first email to your final gallery. No rotating staff, no handoffs, no wondering who’s showing up.

The in-between moments

The glance before the smile, the hand reaching out of frame. Those are the ones you’ll come back to in ten years.

Off the clock

When the Camera’s Down

 When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me working out, walking the beach with my dog, spending time with family and friends,  or finding any excuse to be outside! I’m happiest near the water, always up for a little adventure, and probably trying to squeeze more into a day than humanly possible!

I’m a big believer that the best experiences don’t have to be perfectly planned—and I bring that same energy to photography. If we work together, you can expect plenty of laughs, easy direction, and someone who genuinely wants you to feel comfortable in front of the camera. I’ll help with the posing and the details, but I’ll also be watching for those candid, completely unplanned moments that often become the favorites.

And yes, I am ALWAYS just as excited about your photos as you are.
